Scarpa Gea Alpine Touring Boot

For the 2021/ 2022 season, Scarpa has taken their award-winning Gea Boot and made a complete overhaul. The new Cross Fit Pro Flex Touring Liner features the same, fully thermoformable Intuition foam, with a women’s specific anatomical construction. An elastic band on the instep and heel inserts keep your foot and ankle locked into place while skiing up or downhill. An improved Power Strap Plus provides industry-leading support against the tongue in a lightweight design. Finally, the 2021 Gea features the environmentally friendly PEBAX RNEW plastic which provides exceptional power for the downhill in a thin, durable, and lightweight package. Combine that with the new Thor V Frame cuff with venting and you’ll be surprised with how comfortable/  responsive these new Gea boots.

While Scarpa took the effort to improve on a few key areas of the boot, they maintained the versatility that we love about this boot. Whether you plan on touring deep into the backcountry or spinning lifts at your local hill, the Gea will get the job done. 60 degrees of frictionless cuff articulation and lightweight construction will have the vertical feet melting away beneath your skis. When it comes time to ski, the ankle strap and Speed Lock XT system locks your foot into place for maximum power transmission on the downhill. No matter how long you spend in these boots, the fully heat moldable and ultra-warm Intuition liner will keep your feet happy all day long.
