Salomon Qst Blank Ski

After a small mid-winter release, the Salomon QST Blank is the brand new big gun in the QST family.  It’s not every day a brand puts together a democratic committee of 20 athletes and asks them for design input, but here is the 2022 Salomon QST Blank and boy is it a masterpiece!  The Blank is a 112mm-waisted big mountain monster built to handle both the gnarliest terrain and the most buttery pow sequences.  A performance driven ski, the QST Blank can mold to different styles of touring depending on the binding.  Some folks would prefer a Shift binding and others an MTN.  Either way, you’re destined for a magical experience in the mountains.  There’s a reason it’s a household name- the QST family is well respected for 5 years going on and makes no compromises or sacrifices in delivering a high performing pow surfing in the QST Blank. In addition to its poplar woodcore, Salomon has kept the carbon powered C/F Carbon Flax Weave in the mix, which brings both dampening and stiffness to the table.

The new Salomon QST Blank has a 17m turn radius at a 186cm length and is slightly stiffer than its predecessor, the QST 118. With Cork damplifiers in the tips of the skis, and strategic rubber pads throughout the ski; you’re sitting pretty on a full sandwich ski with durable ABS sidewalls.  

The 2022 Salomon QST Blank comes in three lengths: 178cm, 186cm, 194cm.
