The Petzl Meteor Is a lightweight, low profile helmet designed for any level of ski touring and mountaineering. The Meteor helmet was made to give you the perfect blend of durability and protection. The ventilation used in the Meteor allows for a steady and relaxing air flow on both the ascents and descents. The best part is you won’t noticed that cramped feeling of climbing up the couloir or even sitting at the summit after a savage ascent up a 60 degree slope. The Meteor uses an lightweight polystyrene that allows for a comfortable low profile build. Also compatible with any ski goggle thanks to its rear elastic band. The Meteor is also the first CE-certified Ski touring helmet. But do note that this helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 standard for alpine skiing helmets.
