The K2 Wayback 88 is the middle child in K2’s Wayback line and is unequivocally a powerhouse on the skin track. The Wayback 88 is a beautiful combination of moving efficiently up the mountain and inspiring confidence on the downhill even after the longest days. At 88cm underfoot, we’re talking prime time efficiency, baby. Real deal, eye popping, uphill movement.
The Wayback 88 features an above average length turn radius at 20m and is built with a Paulownia Tour Lite wood core that hosts key components- the Ti SpYne and the Carbon Overdrive technology that are strategically placed into the core. Carbon Overdrive reinforcements give some additional kick and the all important titanal reinforcement is placed underfoot for binding retention and provides a stable feel for all skier types. The combination of the 2 technologies creates a stable ride and provides superb edge grip regardless of the terrain you’re skiing.
K2 designed the Wayback 88 with a full range of 4 lengths in 160, 167, 174, 181 to ensure the all skiers can find their niche in the backcountry.
