K2 Talkback 96 Alpine Touring Ski

Being the big sister in a family can be either easy or difficult, and make no mistake- the K2 Talkback 96 makes it look easy!  The Talkback 96 Alpine touring ski is the widest in the Talkback series, and while maintaining similar construction, the wider width enables a bit more pow surfing than the 88 and 84.  The K2 Talkback 96 is definitely the balance point of moving efficiently up the mountain and screaming downhill as fresh powder is going POOF everywhere.  

The Talkback 96 features a progressive turn ability due to its Paulownia Tour Lite wood core that features key components- Ti SpYne and Carbon Overdrive that are laminated onto the core.  Carbon Overdrive reinforcements give some additional kick and the all important titanal reinforcement placed underfoot for binding retention and overall dampness.  The combination of the 2 technologies creates a stable ride and provides superb edge grip regardless of the terrain you’re skiing.

K2 designed the Talkback 96 with a wide range of lengths in 156, 163, and 170 to ensure that all skiers can find their length to venture into the backcountry.
