The Faction Agent 2.0 X alpine touring ski is as serious a womens ski as the name implies. These “Swiss Misses” are light enough for big approaches and steep up-tracks but designed with a focus that is all about the skiing. Other than the pink topsheet there is no “feminization” of these downhill chargers. Sporting the exact same construction and profile as the men’s ski, tiny rippers will be thrilled to see such a robust and quality built ski coming in a 155cm length. The Agent 2.0 X is packed with features to make it fun to ski and to make it last season after season.

Fun promoting “surf zones” unite the skis rocker with its tip and tail taper. The rocker provides ample float and facilitates pivoting, while the tapered widest part of the tip and tail is moved more toward the center, eliminating unwanted hooking. The Elliptical Radius Sidecut is made up of a longer radius underfoot for fast pivots to shed speed quickly and shorter in the tip and tail for effortless edge to edge turning.

Depending on the size of the ski, between 8 and 12 carbon strips are woven into fiberglass sandwiching the lightweight Karuba wood core. This provides great strength, stiffness and stability without adding needless weight, keeping the 171cm at an impressive 1470 grams.

The Agent 2.0 X is built to last with extra large metal edges for increased durability and greater edging power. This is coupled with reinforced full sidewalls topped with a micro-cap for greater torsional rigidity and protection from dreaded delaming and chipping of the top sheet/sidewall interface. Full Titanal binding plates top off this 96mm waisted workhorse for added strength and security.
