Cripple Creek Backcountry Used Black Diamond Helio Recon 95 163cm Skis With Fritschi Tecton 12 Bindings Gear

Our PNW Seattle location has a prime deal for you today.  Black Diamond Helio Recon 95 ski in a 163cm length mounted with Fritschi Tecton 12.  This used ski is in nearly perfect condition and only skied a handful of times this year–less than 12.  We are selling this ski on the cheap because there’s two small dimples in the base for some heli coil inserts on the ski.  Sadly, we twist them in a smidgen too far and there are cosmetic blems that you can see on the base.  That being said they do not affect the ski performance and after one full tune on a wintersteiger or grind rite machine and these dimples will vanish.

So it’s time to score a perfect used set up at a fraction of the cost of a new setup to go get your June/July/August turns in!  At a 95 waist the BD Recon ski is the complete 50/50 ski that handles all snow.  With a springy poplar core and carbon layup you get a very friendly ski that you can push when you need to lay that edge in, but is super friendly when you need to be light and nimble on the snow.

This setup features one of a kind Fritschi Tecton Binding.  The tecton is one of few tech bindings that has elasticity in the toe piece.  This kinda of modernization can only be seen in the Salomon Shift binding or Marker Duke PT.  Yet the Tecton is so much lighter.

This ski also features our recommend DPS Phantom Application for permanent waxless glide which works amazing in the PNW spring snow.  You can always add specific temp wax on top for those first couple runs.  But phantom application ensures that you will keep gliding while your friends are stuck sticking.
