Featuring an upgraded liner, re-designed buckle system, and gripwalk soles for the 2020 season, Atomic has re-tooled their Hawx XTD line to ski better, walk better, and do so in a more simplistic package. Based off of their best selling Hawx Downhill boot line- these four buckle boots can tour deep into the backcountry in the morning, and ride lifts all afternoon. For the uphill you will enjoy a huge 74 degrees of frictionless articulation that will have the vertical feet melting away behind you. Prolite construction means the boot is built from the ground up to be light, without sacrificing any power for the downhill.
While the specs of this boot are incredible, they really don‚t mean anything if the fit is lousy. Don‚t worry, Atomic has got you covered. The fully heat moldable liner is thicker meaning it holds its shape longer, keeps your feet warmer, and features a snug ankle pocket. If you have funky feet, and your boots typically require more than a basic heat mold to feel just right, then you can also take advantage of the moldable shell. Memolink is added to the polyamide plastic which gives you the ability to add up to 10mm of room in the ankle and 6mm of room in the forefoot through a shell mold. If you are looking for a touring boot that is going to ski like an alpine boot, look no farther. The Womens Atomic Hawx XTD 115 excels on both the up and downhill, and fits like a glove.
