The Altra Women’s Lone Peak 5 improves upon its iconic past with the addition of their AltraEgo™ foam midsole while staying true to its rugged and aggressive design. The Altra Ego™ midsole boosts the Lone Peak’s responsiveness without sacrificing the soft, comfortable feel for long miles on trail. Constructed with a Quick-Dry Air Mesh upper, the Lone Peak 5 breathes well on hot and dry days to keep your feet cool. If you run into a water crossing or unfavorable weather, the mesh upper allows water to drain and dries incredibly quickly.

The MaxTrac™ outsole provides an excellent balance of traction and durability to give you long-lasting traction and control. Altra adds in their TrailClaw™ lugs placed beneath the metatarsals to give you maximum grip on the roughest trails. The Footshape™ toe box design allows your toes to naturally spread out and gives your big toe enough room to stay straight. This natural positioning allows for maximum stability and power.
